LLEAF DONATION LETTER

To Whom It May Concern:

The Little Lake Educational Advancement Foundation (LLEAF) is a California non-profit corporation which was formed by parents, teachers, classified staff, administrators, Board members, and community members to support the students of Little Lake City School District. “The mission of LLEAF is to enrich and support the educational programs of the District through community fundraising, active involvement, and awareness of our students’ needs”

Since its establishment in 2010; The LLEAF foundation has awarded $25,000 annually in the form of monetary grants and an additional $5,000 towards transportation to Science Camp.  This is accomplished through various fundraising events such as an annual golf tournament in March and the pre-sale and sale of fireworks in late June/early July.  The profits from our fundraising events go directly to the seven elementary and two middle schools in order to support various programs and activities for students.  Here are several items/excursions that the students have received or experienced:

  • Tablets and Apple IPAD to be used under instruction
  • New and updated books for Library-Media Centers
  • Meet the Masters:  An interactive art lesson
  • Help Middle School Students fundraise to attend the annual Washington DC trip
  • Field Trips to:
    • Columbia Space Center
    • Natural History Museum
    • Riley’s Farm
  • Assemblies:
    • Science to Go
    • Starlab Planetarium

As LLEAF continues its mission to enhance the educational programs for our students, we are asking you to partner with us and support our efforts with a generous contribution to our organization.  This will benefit our students in ways that reach far beyond the classroom.

Please see the attached envelope where you can make your donation and become a LLEAF supporter.

With gratitude,
