Measure LL

Dear Little Lake City Schools Community,

Thank you for the passage of Measure LL!

We take pride in the fact that our District is one of the top performing school districts in our area. At the same time, many of our schools were built 70 years ago and need health and safety repairs, including testing for asbestos and lead.

That is why the Board of Education placed Measure LL -- the Little Lake City School District Classroom Repair, Health, and Safety Measure-- on the June 7, 2022 Ballot.

Measure LL helps repair deteriorating bathrooms, leaky roofs, cracked asphalt and aging playgrounds; upgrade air filtration and purification and security systems; improve plumbing and electrical wiring, and meet current earthquake safety standards and fulfill accessibility requirements for disabled students.

The Measure LL plan also includes funding to upgrade outdated electrical wiring, improve science, engineering, and computer instruction, and enhance Internet access, which will help ensure all students continue to have access to computers and instructional technology.

Sincerely,
Dr. William Crean, Superintendent
