Dear Families,
As the principal of Lake Center Middle School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year! We are excited to have students back on campus and in our classrooms with their energy and enthusiasm for learning. It is our goal to help every child feel welcomed, connected and part of the Lake Center family. Additionally, we strive to challenge each student to grow academically as we prepare them for high school by the time they have finished at Lake Center.
Our great teachers have been eagerly awaiting our students’ return. They have spent considerable time planning and creating classroom activities to engage students in learning. Our teachers utilize research-based best practices and analyze academic data to determine current skill levels to set goals for growth and improvement. We believe that all students should promote from middle school prepared for the demands of high school and beyond.
As the new school year gets underway, we are excited to be here to support the students of the Lake Center community. Middle school can be a challenging time for parents, and students. During this stage of development, each child may react differently to the changes they are experiencing. Having a supportive environment both at home and at school can soften what can sometimes be a challenging time. Please know that we are here to help so do not hesitate to reach out.
The entire staff at Lake Center is excited to start another school year and we eagerly await the arrival of students.
Dismissal on the first 3 days of school is as follows:
● Wednesday August 17this a minimum day with 1:30 dismissal
● Thursday, August 18th, is a minimum day with 1:30dismissal
● Friday, August 19th, is a minimum day with 1:30 dismissal
● School starts at 8:00 AM each day
