ABC's of Attendance

Welcome to Little Lake City School District, where we invite you to be our partner in your student's education. We value, appreciate, and seek out your participation and collaboration for the success of your student's school years.

We ask all our parents to help us ensure the regular, on-time attendance of their students at school. Our ABC's of Attendance - Attend Every Day, Be On Time, Come Prepared to Learn.  We monitor attendance closely and have various interventions strategies to assist and come alongside our family's in working through any obstacles which may be preventing your student from attending school. Education, by law, is a parental responsibility. Education Code Section 48260 states that, "any pupil subject to full time education or to compulsory education who is absent from school without valid excuse three full days in one school year or tardy and/or absent for more than any 30-minute period during the school day without a valid excuse on three occasions in one school year, or any combination thereof, is truant and shall be reported to the attendance supervisor or the superintendent of the school district."  We also have student incentives offered through out our District with the hopes and exitement of getting all our families on board for a school year that is motivating, fun and successful.
