Superintendent's Message

Mission, Objectives & Beliefs

Dear Little Lake City School District Community,

It is with great enthusiasm and deep gratitude that I welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year! As I proudly enter my 34th year in education and my 16th year serving as a superintendent, I am as energized as ever to embrace the many possibilities and promise this new school year holds.

Our district continues to be recognized as a model of excellence. Little Lake City schools are award-winning institutions, known for their high academic achievement, safe learning environments, and commitment to both instructional excellence and social-emotional support. Every day, our dedicated educators and staff work diligently to ensure our students are equipped to reach their full academic and personal potential.

What makes Little Lake truly special is our collaborative spirit. We are proud to partner with local city councils to create sustainable relationships that strengthen the fabric of our community and enrich the lives of our students and families. In addition, the Little Lake Educational Advancement Foundation (LLEAF) plays a vital role in expanding enrichment opportunities across our nine schools. LLEAF offers a variety of fundraising events throughout the year, and we invite and encourage our community to take part in these efforts to help support and elevate the educational experience for all our students.

On behalf of the entire Little Lake City School District team, thank you for entrusting us with the education of your children. This is a responsibility we hold sacred and a trust we deeply value.

Wishing you and your family a joyful, successful, and inspiring 2025–2026 school year!

Warmest regards,

Jonathan Vasquez
