Board of Education

Little Lake is governed by a five-member elected Board of Education. Board members, who are local residents, serve four-year terms. The Board establishes policies and procedures, ensures the fiscal solvency of the District, and renders decisions regarding student expulsions and suspensions.

Regular meetings of the Board of Education are held one to two times per month on designated  Tuesdays beginning at 6:30 PM in the Board Room of the Little Lake City School District Administration Building at 10515 S. Pioneer Blvd., Santa Fe Springs, CA 90706 or at the specified time at the specified school site posted on the Board Meeting agenda found on the district website.

If you wish to address the Board about a matter noted in the agenda, inquiry cards are available at each Board meeting. Your request to speak must be submitted prior to the beginning of the meeting. Members of the public may speak for up to three minutes on a topic that falls on the agenda. Moreover, at the close of each Board meeting, the public is invited to comment about other matters not noted on the agenda.
