Pupil rights regarding procedures for enrolling, disenrolling, and reenrolling in Independent Study

Parents can enroll their child in Independent Study by contacting the Educational Services Department at (562) 868-8241.  For the 2023/2024 school year, a written agreement must be signed no later than 30 days after the first day of instruction.

Upon written request from a parent/guardian, students may return to in-person instruction within five days.  The student can return to their home school if space permits, or will be offered placement at a neighboring school.
